College Facility

Classroom

  • Academy lecture room is auspicious and especially designed for our design concept and need of each department. Each classroom is well organized so that student can keep himself focused during class hour and afterward.

Laboratory

  • The Academy has a generic computer laboratory for the general needs and demands of the students along with specialized computer labs for each department, with specialized CAD-CAM software for its own domain. There is an easy accessibility to these systems with technical support staff presents through out the day. The campus is also equipped with high speed Wi-Fi system in all areas to facilitate the comfortable use of laptops and other Wi-Fi enabled gadgets.

Library

  • Library has a comprehensive collection of design books, national and international design magazines, especially limited edition titles ranging from sketching, pattern making, textile theory. Academy have books by Indian writer as well as foreign authors in all areas like fashion, textile, interior, jewellery, PGPRM, Multimedia. We have rich amount of cd-rom and video cassettes of design and other very informative tutorials on various subjects.

Hostel

  • Hostel at DIA has different accommodation facilitates for girls and boys of undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

ExtraCurricular

Placement

DIA gives utmost importance to assist students in getting suitable placements after successful completion of their course. A placement committee is formed every year to coordinate the activities of corporate resource centre. Head of corporate resource centre and a group of students look after the functioning of the cell prepares and equips the students to face the corporate world and culture through personality development classes. It helps them in developing the appropriate skills such as team building, communication, leadership and decision making.
