The department of Pharmaceutical Sciences is one of the leading departments of Northern India running Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Ph.D. programmes in Pharmaceutical Sciences. The Undergraduate Programmes (B. Pharm) is accredited by NBA of AICTE, and Postgraduate courses are ranked within top 10 in India. The mission of department is to impart training to the budding Pharmacists so that they develop professional skills as well as life skills.

Laboratory

  • The Central Instrumentation Laboratory is established for the students, research scholars and teachers of the university who are actively engaged in R&D activities in the emerging areas of science, technology & engineering. The CIL is presently having sophisticated instruments like High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS), UV-VIS-NIR-Spectrophotometer, Differential Scanning Calorimeter, Lyophilizer and FT-IR Spectrometer.

Library

  • The university library has undertaken subscription of 151 Indian Journals in the year 2009. The Journals already subscribed in the Library were reviewed keeping in view their utilization pattern. The Library subscribes 61 magazines and 20 newspapers to cater to the general information needs of the University.

Hostel

  • Hostel facility is available for boys and girls.
