Department of Rural Engineering, Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramoday Vishwavidyalay has a broad base concept to improve livelihood of rural population. Department mission is to implement education, research and extension through  students so that they become capable to identify and extract problems from rural areas and by its suitable analysis suggest innovations and design solution to the problems in order to make the rural life more convenient.
