The Government Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital was established in 1986. The institute's vision is to achieve excellence in homeopathic education. It is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka. The students are admitted through a common entrance test which is conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority. The college plans to start many other courses including Homeopathic Philosophy, Homeopathic Materia Medica, Repertory, Practice of Medicine and Pediatrics.
