Government polytechnic, Kharsawan was established by the State Govt. of Jharkhand. The institute offers different Diploma level Engineering Courses. Initially it was started with two branches in Electronics & Communications Engineering and Computer Science & Engineering but later on Information Technology and Electrical Engineering branch was introduced and in future also it has plan to include some more Diploma level Engineering Courses.
