Hemo Prova Borbora Girls' College (H.P.B Girls' College) which is the only girls' college in Golaghat District, Assam under Dibrugarh University was established in 1969. It has made significant strides in its development to become one of the pioneer colleges in the district inparting instructions in almost all arts subjects in both Higher Secondary and Under Graduate levels including major courses. Meanwhile the National Assessment and Accredition Council (NAAC) has visited the college and accredited it as 'B' grade for women's education.(Certificate enclosed).
