The Indian Institute of Technology, Ganadhinagar is one of the prestigious institutes of IIT. IIT, Gandhinagar was coined in 2008 and it is situated in Chandkheda, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Institute is dedicated to providing world-class education in the field of engineering through its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The laboratories of the institute comprise with behavioural data collection cubicles, an eye tracker, a wireless physiology-based data acquisition system, virtual reality-based programming platform and will be supplemented in the future with a 256-channel EEG system.

The placement cell at IIT, Gandhinagar came into existence in the year 2010, with an objective to provide career opportunities to the students. From the last 6 years, the Career Development Services (CDS) was able to attract dominant players from the industry and sector. IIT, Gandhinagar invites top-notch firms to its campus for the recruitment process. Institute provides final placement to Chemical, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering students. For the placement process institute trained its learners through mock interviews, group discussions, and seminars and through organising workshops on various topics..
