Institute imparts world class laboratories for the learners. The laboratories of the institute are well stocked with latest apparatus and assist learners and faculty in their research. In present time institute has computing, material laboratory, material research lab, radio lab, networked system lab, solid mechanic lab, VLSL Design lab, Wireless networks labs, X- Materials innovation hub and many more.

IIT, Hyderabad imparts a well stocked library with a rich collection of books on Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and Humanities & Social Sciences. The collection includes reference books, text books, CDs etc

Institute provides separate hostel facilities for both boys and girls. Two students share a single room. The room of the institute is well stocked with bed, 2 study tables, chairs and 2 godrej almirahs.  Hostel has a special dining area, where students eat delicious food.
