The Indian Institute of Technology Jammu (IIT Jammu) was a result of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Department of Higher Education, Government of Jammu & Kashmir and MHRD, Government of India. The university is currently mentored by IIT Delhi and under its leadership, has students pursuing Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
