Institute imparts separate lecture halls for the learners. The lecture halls of the institute are well equipped with multimedia facilities like projector, LCD etc. Institute imparts conference halls for meeting, conference and other events.

Institute has separate laboratories for the learners, which assist learners in their research and experiments. Institute provides Digital and analog electronic lab, power electronic lab is well kit out with 3-phase power based IPM Modules, Electrical sciences lab is fully fit out with all essential tools. Institute imparts a separate computer lab with round the clock internet facility

Institute has well kit out library for the learner. The library of the institute has a bountiful collection of over 10,500 books and 2000 e-journals. The library of the institute imparts books of engineering, science and technology, humanities and social sciences. Institute library provides text-book, conference proceedings, general and reference books, CD-ROMs, etc.

Hostel is equipped with all modern facilities. Currently there are three hostels for IIT Mandi students of which two are for boys with a capacity of 100 each and one for girls.

Institute emphasis on extracurricular activities for which they organises various activities such as Exodia is techno-cultural fest, literal society has various clubs and societies, which continuously work for escalating student talent in their respective field.
