Institute of Ethnobiology is a part of Jiwaji University. Institute's present course provides education and training on the cultivation, management and marketing of medicinal, aromatic and other important plant species. It also fulfils the thrust area programme of the UGC, by having greater interaction between educational institutes, research laboratories, industries, trade and rural sectors. It also aims to provide knowledge on plants based small entrepreneurship, herbal drugs, Intellectual Property Rights Issues and related legal matters.
