Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship Development established by Bharati Vidyapeeth in 1978, the Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship Development (IMED) is one of the oldest Business Schools in Western part of India. It is the first in its category among the recognized Institute of Management in Pune. IMED has been ranked among top 50 Indian Business Schools, in Surveys conducted by reputed organization in the recent past. it has been accredited by NAAC with 'A' grade.

Laboratory

  • The Computer Laboratory, equipped with the latest hardware and software’s, is where students of various programs are trained, by well qualified faculty, in computing skills. The Laboratory is quite spacious and houses three servers - Novell Netware 6.5, Windows 2003 and Linux. 300 Pentium nodes are attached to these servers.

Hostel

  • The institute has hostel well equipped hostel facilities. The hostel buildings are spacious and properly ventilated. Every hostel has spacious dining hall where meals are provided at reasonable rates. Each hostel has a recreation hall with a color T.V. Facilities for indoor games, internet, telephone/fax are available. Each hostel is installed with a solar system to provide hot water to the students. Medical facilities are also provided in the campus.

Placement

The Corporate resource center at IMED functions under the chairmanship of the Director, with the Training and Placement Officer as the convener. The other members of the corporate resource center include the heads of the departments of MBA (Gen), MBA(HR), MBA(IT) and MCA.
