The Institute of Management in Kerala was established under the tutelage of the University of Kerala in the year 1991.  The Institute is located in the capital city of Kerala, Trivandrum amidst the lush green University Campus.  The Institute provides Masters as well as Doctoral Programmes in Business Management, in addition to various other courses like EDP and specialized certificate courses.The protracted strides the Institute has made during this time has earned it a place  among the top B schools in India.  An excellent industrial interface both in terms of teaching and concerted activities along with a placement record, that provides an envious distinction, has raised the status of the institute as a “Center for Excellence” in management training and development in Kerala.
