Jalpaiguri Polytechnic Institute has traveled a long path since its inception and produced thousands of students spread all over the country. Institution has a 600 strong students for diploma in addition with 100 nos. of Tribal students under VTC (a scheme of Backward Class Department) and 300 other of CPC (a scheme of MHRD, Govt. of India).
