Department of Journalism and Mass Communication is a part of Veer Narmad South Gujarat University. The department offers postgraduate diploma course and master degree course in Journalism and Mass communication. Objective of the department is to introduce students to the nature, role and scope of journalism and mass communication in India and its relevance to urban and rural development and to orient and train students to mass communication research so as to enable them go in later for research work.
