J R media Institute is a premier institute of Journalism and Mass Communication, situated in Delhi. It was established in the year 2010 by Lala Jagat Narain Romesh Chander Education Society.

The Society is associated with a well-reputed newspaper, the Daily Punjab Kesari. The Institute is named after the names of very strong pillars of journalism, Late lala Jagat Narain and Late Romesh Chander. ‘J’stands for Late Jagat Narain and ‘R’ depicts Lare Romesh Chander. Hence the full name of the Institute is J R Media Institute.

The Institute is working towards the holistic development of those candidates who have a zeal for journalism. The Institute is in its 8th Session and has gone an extra mile to cater to the interests of those candidates with a positive mind frame for journalism and has helped them to accomplish their dreams. Within seven years of its inception, the Institute succeeded in its aim.
