JEC comes under the umbrella of Thrissur Educational Trust, which was incepted by the Catholic Archdiocese of Thrissur, started functioning at Cheruthuruthy in the year 2002. In a short span of time College is shining like a star & known as a fourth Best Engineering College in the State and Third position among the Engineering Colleges.

JEC engineering college library is extended in an area of 758 Esq. and is set up in the administrative block spanning 2 floors with a seating capacity of 300 students. The library has a rich collection 22049 volumes consisting of 8077 titles in various domains of science and technology.

The training & placement cell handles the campus placement for the students. The placement cell of the JEC engineering college provides world class infrastructure amenities for the recruitment process such as arrangements for the Group discussions, mock interviews, written test pre-placement talks etc. The objective of the placement cell is to develop student’s soft skills through in house and external agency program and organising campus placement by inviting top leading firms in JEC campus.
