The K.M. Shah Dental College affiliated to Sumandeep Vidyapeeth was established in 1999, the time when students from Gujarat used to go to south for dental education. The vision behind setting up this department was to give the students the needed opportunity so that they can learn the art and science of Dentistry at close quarters. It is considered to be the first college in the country to start an under-graduate program and a subject of Evidence Based Dentistry. Research focus, EBD and problem based learning are believed to be the future corner stones of our education making our institute globally competent.
