Kamala Baliga College of Education is affiliated to Karnataka University and accredited by NAAC and NCTE. It is a private aided institution managed by Kanara College Society (Regd.) Kumta, which has been doing pioneering work in higher education since 1950. The College is involved in pre-service teacher training for secondary schools. The college offers a course in education leading to the degree of Bachelor in Education.  The College has sincerely been striving to provide rich and meaningful curricular as well as co-curricular experiences to student teachers.
