  • The Arts and Science Colleges together have a common central library named after the late Prin. V. K. Gokak. Being the oldest library in this part of the country, it has a large and valuable collection of books which exceed a lakh in number. About 2000 titles are being added every year and about 60 periodicals are subscribed too. There is a seating arrangement for about 200 students.

Hostel

  • The college has two hostels for boys and one for girl students. In all he hostels a platform is provided for the students to exhibit their hidden talents by way of conducting competitions in sports, indoor and out door games, cultural activities etc.There are two wardens, one for boy’s hostels and the other for girl’s hostel to supervise and take care of the inmates. To assist each warden, there is a clerk and 4 to 5 managerial staff.

  • The Karnatak Science College Gymkhana is the most important organization which handles most of the extra curricular activities of the students. Each student of the college is a member of the Gymkhana. The object of the Gymkhana is to provide opportunities to sports and cultural activities, to students to assume important responsibilities and authority in the conduct of sports and cultural activities.
