Kathir College of Engineering is affiliated to Anna University and accredited by All India Council for Technical Education. The college offers Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Engineering in various streams.
College has well ventilated spacious classrooms, which are equipped with amenities like projector & audio-video. Every classrooms of the college has a green board or a black board with computer white board & a podium and a noticed board is also provided in every classroom.
College has a computer lab for the students and also some others important labs for engineering department. The computer lab of the college is well kit out with latest software’s, windows, scanner etc. The labs of the college assist students in their practicals, projects and assignments. Computer lab of the college is well connected with internet facility which helps students in searching information related to their programmes
Kathir College of Engineering (KEC) has a rich library, which provides both print and non print collection for the students and faculty. The library of the college is extended in an area of 625 sq.m.. The library is computerized and air conditioned with Reference Section, Magazine Section and Stack Area. Currently college has bountiful collection of 17,000 books and reference volumes and numerous magazines in all pertinent streams of engineering & management.
College provides separate hostel facility for both girls & boys through their well kit out rooms. The room of the hostel are spacious and hygienic , 24 hours power supply, fully furnished comfortable rooms for the students, separate gym , fresh, healthy and nutritious food provided by our own mess. The campus has strong Wi-Fi connectivity.
The college organizes Blood Donation camp and National Service Scheme for students.
The placement cell of the Kathir College of Engineering (KEC) provides 100% placement to its learners. The placement cell of the college organises seminars and GD sessions, which enhance learners skills and makes them deft for the industry. The placement cell invites both national & international firms to its campus for the recruitment process such as IT giants Infosys, Dell, HCL, Payoda, Hexaware, Oracle, Sutherland, KALS Information System, CSS Corp, CMC TaTa and core companies like TaTa Communication, BGR energy, Numeric Power & Micro Tek etc.
