Malabar College of Engineering and Technology, Thrissur was established in the year 2009 under IQRA Educational & Charitable Trust. The college offers B.Tech course in six different specializations and M.Tech in four different specializations. Supplemented with a Wide range of electronic sources, MCET library provides information in a serene setting 12 international journals and 25 national journals place at the disposal of the students’ latest information on different branches of Engineering.

The unit organizes cleaning programme's in and around Government institutions in the suburbs of shornur it provides opportunity to staff and students to gain valuable practical experience through community service.
