Manbhum Mahavidyalaya was established with a view to extending academic knowledge, offering scope for higher education and all round development to its students especially amongst the relatively deprived. College is committed to providing excellence in education in Humanities, Commerce and Science faculties in the Under Graduate level to the students.

Library

  • The college has a well established library which caters to the need of the undergraduate and post graduate students, research scholars and the faculty. The college library has a collection of about 9000 books. It subscribes to about 10 journals in various disciplines of science, Commerce and Humanities. Services such as lending of books and journals, reading room, reprographic facilities and bibilographic reference and information are rendered by the library.

Hostel

  • The college has a student hostel where male students can stay. The students are looked after by a Hostel Super. The hostel provides food to the boarder against a nominal payment. Especially students of S.C., S.T. and O.B.C. community and students of financially backward class are given privilege. The female students of our college have been provided the facility of a separate hostel building with in the college premises.

ExtraCurricular

  • To reward excellence and promote healthy practices, Annual Cultural Competitions are held in music, recitation, debate, essay writing and quiz in the college. Annual Social Function and Fresher Welcome are organized by the Students' Union. Musical soiree, dance drama and drama are also organized by the students of the college on the occasions of important social celebrations.
