Manipal Institute of Regenerative Medicine was set up to encourage the research in stem cell science. The aim of MIRM is to become a leading centre in the world for basic stem cell biology and work for critical advances in the field through a programme of ground breaking innovation. College Facility

Classroom

  • Each classroom can accommodate over a hundred students. The seating arrangement is such that the students get an unhindered view of the faculty and teaching aids from all sides.

Laboratory

  • The lab has state-of-the-art inverted projection microscopes with attached television monitors. The Students Practical laboratory with its excellent infrastructure, equipment and tissue culture room is a unique opportunity for a student to attain proficiency in different techniques of stem cell research and protocols settings. Each student has the individual space to perform experiments.

  • The institute has an explicit library with good compendium of books, CDs and online access for various scientific journals published by Elsevier, Nature, Future Medicine and Stem Cells.

ExtraCurricular

  • The Annual Inter College Cultural Festival is the flagship cultural event held in the University. Students from all the constituent colleges of the University and also students from our campuses at Bangalore, Sikkim, Nepal, Malaysia and Dubai are invited to participate in this gala event. This is a week- long programme wherein students showcase their talents by participating in various competitions like Creative Writing, Classical Instrumental, Vocal and Dance, Pot Pourri, Cultural Parade, Light
