MERI provides air conditioned classy classrooms. All classrooms provides a special learning environment, a touch screen white board is integrated with the LCD projector and a computer.

Central library is available.

The Hostel has a multi-level formation. On the first level - the wings are divided into 10 Sadans (Houses). Appropriately, these "Sadans" are named after famous scientists - Bose, Diesel, Edison, Faraday, Froude, Marconi, Newton, Parson, Raman, Ranking. All wings have their own Study Rooms, Messes, T.V. Rooms, Drinking Water facility & the basic Furnishing.

Not only the students are constantly urged to take part in various Group activities, they are also encouraged to use the existing academic facilities to pursue their individual interests. While the Campus Workshop is essentially meant for Practical Trainings, students have regularly used the workshop for individual interest in "Model Making". In fact, the Institute also organises an Annual Model Making competition every year.
