Maulana Azad Educational Trust's Model D.Ed College is affiliated with Maharashtra State Council of Education Research and Training, Pune. College bears testimony to Dr Rafiq Zakaria’s foresight and vision and the transformation of this vision into reality by Mrs Fatma Rafiq Zakaria in recognizing the need for a college of education exclusively for girls. The girls of Aurangabad otherwise would have been deprived of this professional training due to paucity of D. Ed Colleges in Urdu and English medium in the city. College aims at training teachers of Urdu and English and imbibes in them the spirit of secularism and national integration.
