Accommodation can be arranged for outstation students. Contact centre for cost, availability etc.
It depends on the stream that they choose. If they study visual effects, they can expect to work with any studio that works on domestic or international movies. Today’s movies (even the domestic ones) have loads of shots that are actually computer-generated than done in “real”. Take for example, Ra.One which had more than 3500 VFX shots and used the best software like Maya, Houdini, Max (for 3D) and Nuke for compositing. Apart from Hollywood movies, Hindi movies have also strongly taken to VFX.
There are loads of other career options, for students learning graphics, web design etc, in advertising, mass communication, PR and so on. Students work in movie production studios, e-learning and e-commerce companies, advertising agencies, publishing houses etc. Gaming enthusiasts can learn gaming courses and explore careers in the several gaming companies that operate in Bangalore-which has now become a gaming hub.
