Meerut College, Meerut was started in 1892 with 70 students, at present there are more than 13000 students on its rolls. It imparts education at undergraduate, post graduate and doctorate levels in 22 departments. At present 719 scholars are pursuing research in different faculties. The college celebrated its centenary in 1992. It has a glorious past full of achievements and traditions. It continues to be one of the oldest premier centers of higher education.
