Mumtaz Post Graduate College upgraded to degree level with a view to provide higher education especially to the members of Muslim minority, in  line with the doctrines of Islamic faith. It was also the aim of the founding body to extend the facilities of higher education to the youth of other communities especially to Dalits and Backward classes. The college offers Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science and Mastr of Arts courses.
