The first educational institution set up by the Murgaon Education Society was the College of Arts & Commerce which was established at Vasco-Da-Gama in 1972. This was also the first composite Arts and Commerce College in the State of Goa to be affiliated to the University of Mumbai and then to Goa University. The college offers Bachelor of Art, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Commerce in Shipping Management, Bachelor of Computer Application and Bachelor of Business Administration courses.

  • The library has total collection of 22032 books subscribes to about 71 periodicals and 15 local and national newspapers. During the year 2009-10, 1483 books were added to the library collection. Library also maintains newspaper clippings, files on about twenty different topics and the clipping work is carried on by two students under “Earn While You Learn” Scheme. The library has book bank facility for the needy and meritorious students wherein 110 students from B.A./B.Com/B.C.A. have availed
