NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, established in the year 1998 is an institute with excellence in the field of legal education and research, The university is established under the National Academy of Legal Studies and Research University Act. NALSAR is committed to provide and create an ethical legal culture that promotes rule of law. It is counted amongst the top law colleges in the country. 

The University provides an opportunity to explore limitless options in legal profession and is setting new standards in legal education. The University has as its primary mission to create a generation of able, competent and humane lawyers who will not only enter the Bar and Bench but will also be equipped to address effectively the imperatives of the new millennium and to engage in community services. NALSAR was quick to establish a reputation for excellence in legal education within a short period. Teachers and Graduates soon made an impact that was felt not only nationally but also internationally.

College Facility

Classroom

  • NALSAR offers a variety of facilities for hosting conferences and seminars. It has 10 air-conditioned conference/seminar halls, which can accommodate various people ranging from 25-250 with state of the art communication and presentation facilities. The biggest amongst them are the R.N. Jhunjhunwala Conference Hall and the Video-Conferencing Hall at the M.K. Nambyar SAARC Law Centre. NALSAR also has a full-fledged Moot-Court Hall, where international moot court competitions like the Manfred Lach

Hostel

  • The University has separate residential halls for boys and girls, with a common dinning hall. While senior studetns are provided with single occupancy rooms. The rest are accommodated in double occupancy rooms. The halls have common room facilities with indoor games, besides a TV and telephones (only for incoming calls). The common mess serves non-vegetarian food three days a week. Two private telephone booths are available for the students.

Placement

College have very well established placement cell . Campus placement at college is largely managed by a body of students with each outgoing batch electing its own Recruitment Co-ordination Committee (RCC).
