The National Defence Academy of India is a joint services academy where cadets of the three wings Army, Navy and Air Force are trained together before they go for their pre-commission training to their respective academies.

Classroom

  • The college has Spacious and well maintained classrooms.

  • Institute has well equipped labs with modern facilities.

Library

  • The NDA has a well stocked library providing yeoman service as a repository of knowledge and information. The library has over 76912 titles housed in two stacks on the ground floor. The reading room is situated on the first floor. The library subscribes to 55 Indian and 11 foreign magazines in addition to 10 newspapers. Within the reading room a section is reserved for cadets surfing the internet and browsing through an updated collection of CD-ROMS.

Hostel

  • The mess is the hub of social activities in all defence institutions. It is also the single officer's home away from home. The NDA Officers' Mess and Institute is situated on the triangular island formed by the convergence of roads near the gymnasium.

ExtraCurricular

  • NTT has been holding a huge repository of Watermanship equipment at Watermanship Training Centre, Peacock Bay located on the waterfront of Khadakwasla lake. Watermanship clubs functional varieties at Watermanship Training Centre, Peacock Bay are as follows: * Yachting * Kayaking * Windsurfing * Rowing * Water-skiing * Ship Modeling Besides training, numerous Watermanship competitions and expeditions are conducted during the term.
