The College has spacious and airy  classrooms, which are well equipped with contemporary facilities, such as audio systems, Overhead Projects. A well-equipped Resource Generation Room is set-up for the faculty to prepare teaching material and carry out research in their subject. The student community at NIT Kurukshetra is vibrantly alive. Their excitement and exuberance find outlets in the activities of various clubs such as the cultural and dramatic society,National level tests are organized, drawing teams from all over the nation.
