From the Day one, faculty in particular and all other staff emphasize on a 360 degree growth/development of the student with focus on academics. As a consequence, the interpersonal and career skills (both oral and written) apart from the other required technical skills, are honed resulting in a professionally well grown technocrats, ready to face the challenges thereof are available to recruit and hence NIT-Puducherry stands among one of the best talent pools in the country.

The Mission of the Training and Placement cell is to;

• Provide adequate training to every single student of the batch making them not only eligible for the placement process, but also able to face it with less effort.
• provide an active interface between potential employers and the student in other words establishing an active placement system.
• The training and placement cell strives to develope relations with recruiters in every field ensuring wide choice in the students career opportunities which serves as a guarantee to his/her sanctification  both with the company and  the cell.
