National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Patna has emerged as the premier institute of Design, Management and Technology. NIFT, Patna was established in June 2008, under the Ministry of Textile, Government of India. NIFT campus is 3 km from Patna Junction and 8 km from the airport. The institute has good transport connectivity with rest of the city through bus and auto, besides the students’ bus of the Institute.

The courses offered by the Institute consist of specialisation in two disciplines of Bachelor of Design at the undergraduate level and Masters in Fashion Management at the post-graduate level. The Institute has portrayed itself as a leader in fashion education in the state.  The Institute of Fashion and Technology has committed to explore its growth paradigm and to act like a cartelist in formulating the structural roadmap for the apparel and allied industry.
