Padmashree Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Education (B. Ed.), is a distinguished degree college. The Government of Maharashtra has granted permission to establish this B. Ed. College. This B.Ed. College also has a attached D.Ed. College (D.T.E.) Diploma in Teacher Education Course. For both the B.Ed. and D.Ed. College the medium of instruction is Marathi. There are plans to add an English medium D.Ed. Division and also a new College of Education offering B. Ed. & M. Ed. Courses are on the anvil.
