Padmashree Manibhai Desai College is affiliated to Pune University. College is running under the Mahatma Gandhi Sarvodaya Sangh. The aim of founders is to provide quality education at lowest cost to the needy population of Uruli Kanchan even at non- grant basis. Even though the college started at non-grant basis, the office bearers of the organization decided to impart education in science stream.
