P.C. Jabin Science College is the first single faculty Science College started in 1957 to impart need based and moral education to the students of North Karnataka. College mission is to build an environment of instructional excellence to meet the needs of present and emerging scientific and technological world and to contribute to the advancement of knowledge and developmental needs of the society.

Classroom

  • All the classrooms of the department are well furnished with all modern facilities.

Laboratory

  • Language Lab with 25+1 computers provides Language Learning Exercises. It also consists of more than 15 softwares for language learning.

Library

  • The Library was established along with the establishment of the college.In the beginning the library was housed in a small room with a collection of 780 books. It was later shifted to bigger hall on second floor of the building in 1964. The new independent spacious building was constructed at the cost of Rs.7,17,125.21 lakhs in the year 1990, out of which UGC Contribution is 1,40,000/- and K.L.E. Hostel

  • Hostel accommodation for 75 boys is available only to students coming from rural areas and with good academic performance. There is a separate ladies hostel to accommodate nearly 157 students. Both the hostels have all facilities and are in the vicinity of the college. Students have to apply and appear for interview to seek admission to the hostel. Hostel facility cannot be assured to every applicant because of limited seats. Students have to apply in the prescribed form after getting admission

ExtraCurricular

  • The College has NCC unit with 100 boy cadets and 80 girl cadets and NSS unit with 100 Volunteers. The College has a Students Welfare Officer who is also the placement Officer.
