Perunthalaivar Kamarajar college of Education was established in 2001 under the aegis of the Union Territory of Pondicherry Colleges of Education Society. This College started functioning in the academic year 2001-2002 for offering the one year B.Ed. degree course with an intake of 60 students on the recognition of NCTE and affiliation from Pondicherry University.
