Pillai’s College of Education and Research is comes under the umbrella of Mahatma Education Society which was commenced in the year 1990 with an objective of producing teachers with noble and elevating quality, who in turn, will achieve extra-ordinary merits and attainments. The mission of college is to promote academic excellence & create humane, self-reliant teachers to meet the local and global challenges of the society and nation. Pillai’s College of Education and Research is an emblem of knowledge, inspiration, and motivation for future teachers. The institute has been selected as the ‘Best Extension Work College’ of 2005 - 2006 by the Department of Adult and Continuing Education and Extension, University of Mumbai.
