College of Physical Education, Patiala NAAC Accredited B++ is a premier institute of northern India. It is the only govt. college of physical education in Punjab which offers all the courses in physical education. This college started its journey from Mountessary Park Lahore in 1940.

  • All the classrooms of the college are well furnished with all modern facilities.

Laboratory

  • The institution has anatomy lab, psychology lab with sufficient numbers of charts, diagrams, models, tests and apparatus.

Library

  • Library has a total collection of 14762 books and they are indexed, catalogued and properly stacked. The library is fully computerized. It subscribes to 16 journals/magazines and 6 newspapers. No. of reference books are 900,. encyclopedia 55, M.Phil thesis 71. The library has book bank facility, It has a photocopier, audio video CDs and micro films. The library works for 270 days in a year and kept open for six days in a week and open from 9 a.m. to 3.30 p.m.

Hostel

  • The college provide well furnished hostel facility for boys and girls.

ExtraCurricular

  • The N.S.S. unit of the college in addition to the routine programmes undertakes various activities to inculcate quality like “dignity of labour”, “fight upto last” and “team spirit”. The students have also organized sports for school children and also sports for differently challenged students.
