Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj, Government Medical college is located at Dasara Chowk, Bhausingji Road, Kolhapur district, Maharashtra State, India. It was founded in the year 2000. The RCSM GMC is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. The college is recognized by the Medical Council of India, New Delhi for medical Education in India.

The institute is mainly funded by Government of Maharashtra and render so many services, virtually free of cost, mostly to the under privileged sections of the society. The CPR hospital popularly known as "Thorala Davakhana" since inception and caters services to the people from neighboring districts viz. Sangli, Satara, Konkan area including Sindhudurga & Ratnagiri, south Karnataka including Belgaum district apart from Kolhapur district.
