Ravenshaw University is one of the oldest and largest  colleges in India which subsequently became an autonomous college with CPE status by UGC and ‘A’ grade by NAAC. The University has 27 departments of which 20 are post-graduate departments. M.Phil. programme is available in 14 departments and all the departments have provision for Ph.D. & D.Litt. programmes.

Classroom

  • The Institute has a well equipped audio-visual classroom with state of the art equipments and includes LCD projector, Computer, Overhead projector, adequate chairs, tables etc. which helps in conducting interactive sessions and project presentations.

Laboratory

  • The college has well-equipped computer lab with broadband Internet connectivity and a host of other required software. There are more than 100 modern computers in the labs that facilitate in learning IT and also undertake research and data processing.

Library

  • The university has a well-stocked library with two lakh books and journals, and grand plans are being made to update the library with more books and international journals. The library is being made completely web-based and around 100 computers are going to be installed for the purpose.

Hostel

  •  
    The University offers hostels for both Boys and Girls with facilities like STD / ISD  Telephone lines, exclusive uninterrupted study room for students  after college hours and Uninterrupted power supply with seperate Generator for Students. Also good Nutritious food is provided as per the preferred menu of the hostelers with Non Veg  meal provided once a week. 

ExtraCurricular

  • The University encourages extracurricular activities like clubs, yoga & meditation, sports & games to create a healthy mind and a youthful soul among the students. Also regular personality development workshops, regular seminars, workshops and conferences are also held.

Placement

Ravenshaw University has a placement cell that works closely with industry and makes systematic efforts to place the graduates. Placement assistance is provided to all students and Campus interview is a regular feature. Also students are provided with exposure, access and practical experience with an organization with the help of seminars and workshops conducted by the University.
