Sammilani Mahavidyalaya was coined in the year 1996 for fulfilling the necessary needs of the society. The college is located in the Baghajatin, Kolkata, West Bengal, which is locally known as Paschim Bongo. Sammilani Mahavidyalaya imparts conventional and advanced programmes for the future professionals. Sammilani Mahavidyalaya is affiliated with University of Calcutta and Accredited by N.A.A.C. The ecofriendly atmosphere of the college makes learning favourable for the students. The mission of the college is to further enhance the standard of teaching, learning, research and extra-curricular activities both quantitatively and qualitatively.

  • The College has developed a well-equipped laboratory base, facilitating the learner's practical knowledge at the experimental level in Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Computer Science and Geography. There is also a well equipped IT Lab for the students of the department of Commerce.

  • The library of the college is well kit out with advanced collection of books and journals in the subjects that the college offers within the curriculum. College library imparts separate reading room for its students & faculty. The library of the college is extended in an area of 102.8 sq. meters. Apart from this the library is fully computerized; in non-print collection library imparts CD on different subjects.
