SCAD Teacher Training Institute was founded in January 2006 by Dr.S.Cletus Babu, inspired by Dr.J.X.Amali Cletus Babu with the proper recognition of Central and State Governments. The institute is affiliated to the Directorate of Teacher Education Research and Training (DTERT), Chennai and recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Bangalore. It offers course Diploma in Teacher Education.
