School of Architecture established by Babu Banarsi Das Educational Society is one of the dynamic and important departments of the university with the vision to contribute towards imparting knowledge and preparing future space designers and architects in order to facilitate majority of people build and realize their dreams of owning aesthetically, structurally and functionally superior spaces. The far sighted vision, commitment, enthusiasm and dedication of the faculty members under the support and guidance of Hon’ble Chairman Dr. Akhilesh Das Gupta and the administrative intelligencia has resulted in making the School of Architecture as one of the premier Architecture College of North India. A decade old Programme of Bachelors in Architecture, initially had started with single specialization Programme of 5 years course of Bachelors degree in Architecture (B.Arch.) with an annual intake of 40 students. With the passage of time school experienced growth and overwhelming interest by the future students which led to the beginning of two new courses namely, B.Arch. (BCM) and B.Arch. (ID) having an intake of 40 students each in 2005.  The school boasts of a healthy and ever growing alumni unit which comprises of huge number of ex-students working in reputed national and international organizations. Witness to the successful execution of the School’s vision of overall grooming of the student, is the selection of the students with reputed architectural consultancy organizations, MNCs and Post graduate courses in International repute colleges across the globe. The School is about to touch the pinnacle and achieve the mark of the best amongst all with the overall aim of “Realize Your Dreams”. With growth in every step and developmental initiatives in every eye, the experienced faculty, guest lecturers and industrial experts from across the country have always been working in collaborative efforts trying to put the School of Architecture at the top slot marking its presence amongst the likes.
