School of Biotechnology is affiliated to University of Jammu. The University of Jammu, accredited as 'A' Grade University by National Assessment & Accreditation Council of India. The college offers science programme. Most of the students of this School have gone in for higher studies while few have joined the industry. The School has developed a well knit course curriculum which helps the students to gain placements in research institutions of International repute. About 80% of the students qualify National tests like NET(UGC-CSIR, ICMR) BET, GATE etc. The School has established a Bioinformatics Centre for which the grants have been provided by the DBT.
