School of Medical Science is a part of Manipur University. Under the School many Degree, Diploma and PG courses are opened at RIMS ( Regional School of Medical Sciences), Imphal. M.Phil and Ph.D programmes are also there. RIMS was established as a joint venture of the North Eastern States headed by the Government of Manipur.

Laboratory

  • An Audio Visual Language & Phonetics Laboratory was established in 1984 from funds made available by the UGC. The Language Laboratory is one of of the components of the Laboratory complex.   • The Thangjing Hostel is one of the Men’s Hostels of Manipur University. The Hostel currently has the provision of accommodation of 165 students. The hostel is provided with a common mess as well as sports and recreational facilities. The Koubru Hostel (formerly known as Men’s Hostel 2). There are 55 rooms in this hostel. Besides, the hostel has a Dining hall, a TV Hall, a Reading Room and a visitor’s room. The total staff strength of the hostel is 8 (2 cooks, 3 mess helpers, 1 caretaker, 1 chowk
