School of Studies in Zoology, Jiwaji University is accredited by NAAC. The mandate of the School is to impart quality education and training to the students and to conduct research in Zoology and interdisciplinary areas  leading to M.Sc., M.Phil, Ph.D. and D.Sc. degrees. The School is well known for excellent research work in various fields of Zoology and allied disciplines.

College Facility

Classroom

  • The department is well equipped classroom with all latest facilities.

Laboratory

  • The computer center is well equipped with the network of LAN and UNIX incorporating the latest hardware technologies. The students are apprised of all types of latest advancements in the field of software and hardware. Computer Centre was established for purpose of providing Central Computing facility to university teaching departments and research activities.

Library

  • The University central Library has a collection of over 1,40,000 books and about 8000 bound volumes of research journals. It also contains a section of unpublished theses. Presently more than 142 Indian and Foreign journals are being subscribed.

Hostel

  • The college provides separate hostel facility for boys and girls.

ExtraCurricular

  • Students Welfare has been very dynamic in organizing various culture activities to promote the personality of the students. Our students participated in Zonal, Regional, National and International Youth Festivals held at various places in the country and won gold, silver and bronze medals.
