Sharadchandra Pawar Mahavidyalaya, Lonand is affiliated to Shivaji University and approved by NAAC. The college has been adopted by Hon. Mr. Sharadchandraji Pawar, the ex-Chief Minister of Maharastra, the ex-Defence Minister, Govt. of India, and presently the union Agricultural Minister, President of B.C.C.I and President of Rayat Shikshan Sanstha, Satara. His inspiration and help will really make this college an inseparable part of Khandala Taluka.
